This study aims to provide a jurisprudential analysis of the representation of religious figures within the framework of interactive narratives in video games, focusing on a systematic exploration of the challenges and feasibility of adhering to Islamic legal principles in this domain. With the increasing influence of modern media, especially video games, and their pivotal role in shaping the religious and ethical perceptions of audiences, particularly younger generations, the development of jurisprudential frameworks for depicting sacred elements and religious figures in digital environments has become a strategic necessity. Such frameworks are essential to safeguard the sanctity of religious concepts and prevent desecration of sacred figures. The research follows an analytical-interpretive method, grounded in the examination of authoritative jurisprudential sources, principles of media jurisprudence, and a review of selected examples from video games. Within the theoretical framework, key jurisprudential principles, such as the prohibition of offending sacred entities (ḥurmat al-ihāna) and the imperative to uphold the dignity of the believer (ḥurmat al-mu’min), have been identified as foundational for the representation of religious figures. In pursuit of applicable solutions, the study proposes practical strategies including symbolic substitution (qarīna-sāzī), the design of emblematic or representative characters, the use of meaningful absence in lieu of direct representation, and the active involvement of religious scholars well-versed in interactive media. These proposals provide a basis for formulating jurisprudential policies for the development of video games aligned with Islamic values.
