The influence of the virtual space on individuals' lives, especially children and adolescents, cannot be ignored. Given that children and adolescents spend a significant amount of time on social media platforms such as Instagram, Telegram, and WhatsApp, it is crucial to study child abuse in the virtual space and implement preventive and supportive measures. This descriptive-analytical study aims to explore the various forms of abuse and exploitation that children may experience in the virtual space, including sexual abuse. It emphasizes the importance of providing specialized and continuous support services, organizing practical workshops for children, adolescents, and parents, and involving female judges in addressing cases related to child abuse in the virtual space. The study also discusses civil and criminal liability in this context.
